About Us - Pretending to be Big
Quirkybags was started in August 2006 by us, Mark and Karheena, as a spin-off from Happybags.  Happybags specialises in baby changing bags and accessories and we kept finding great new products that had nothing to do with babies.  We decided to create a new website dedicated to bags and products with a function that were a little bit unusual and not easy to find on the high street - Quirkybags was born. 

Within a year, we have vastly expanded our range and with a little help from our customers, we are pleased to have an ever increasing choice of bags and accessories.  It's always exciting to hear about designers that people have been searching for and unable to find, so please contact us if there is a product or design that you think would appeal to Quirkybags.

In October 2007 we launched a whole new, professionally designed website with faster response times and better stock control, not to mention a shiny new image.

A while ago, a savvy supplier of ours told us that when your business is small, you pretend to be big, and when you get big, you pretend to be small.  We're still at the pretending to be big stage, but who knows, one day we will pretend to be small....
